4/11/2011I agree E.H. I lived in Wichita for years and moved away. I was relocated time and time again and finally I had enough and moved back after being away for years. It does not have the selection and variety of Kansas City or Dallas or L.A., but it is ok. Wichita was far nicer and less stressful than anywhere I have ever been. I can honestly say that Wichita is a great place to live "if" you are in the right stage of life to enjoy it. While there are things to do for families and those middle age and above, it lacks a vibrant nightlife in my opinion. So my take is, go somewhere else, get wasted and party every night for a few years until you have all of that out of your system and are ready to settle down and give maturity a try. When you are ready to live in a relatively safe and welcoming community, stop on by, you will like it.

4/11/2011OP is a nice place to live. It is next to Kansas City and you can hop on 435 and be anywhere you want to be in a city that is jam packed with fun stuff to do.
