Beautiful place, but not a lot of work nearby -
2/13/2022This is a beautiful place to live, quiet, not a lot of traffic, trees, hiking trails with awesome slopes, ledges, smells nice, and just great in every way. The stores (although there are few) don't get too busy with people, which feels so good to me--
The only reason I gave it 4/5 is that there is not too much work in Sullivan County, so you have to commute somewhere. I commute to the city and it's a little scary in the snow and fog. Wish I could just retire here and not commute, but oh well. It's nice. I will see if I stay here, I'm still on the fence, due to the commute. Last week, a car hit me in the rear on the highway in the fog, and I've been pretty frightened ever since about driving. uggh.
