5/24/2007We moved here over 5 years ago from New Hampshire and have found that the living here is very laid back; more like country living than southern Florida. Being near the "Nature Coast" is very nice also. The cost of living is a little bit higher than average, but sometimes you get what you pay for.
Sugarmill has a unique green belt that provides many opportunities to watch local animal life and there are many opportunities for retirees to volunteer in many different venues. Only an hour away from Tampa and St. Petersburg, where there is easy access to the airport, shopping malls, entertainment, etc.
