9/28/2020Although I prefer Carson City over Reno for quality of life and excellent city leadership and agree with you that crime is exploding in Reno, I have to point out that comparing any city in CA to Reno for crime is misleading. CA has decriminalizing crime, so the stats are skewed.

9/28/2020Complete hogwash from Nathan below. Sounds like you got into trouble with the law here. Yes, we are law and order in Carson City.
Carson has a high quality of life and if your a outdoor enthusiast, this area is tough to beat for mountain biking and hiking trails, access to the forest and mountains and water sports in the nearby lakes.
If the restaurants in CC are not to your liking, it's 20 minutes to Reno or Lake Tahoe for other options. This city is a treasure.
