Folsom, CA
Folsom is a great town -
7/20/2013Folsom is a great little town of about 70,000 people. A half hour from Sacramento, an hour and a half from Tahoe, it sits in a good location at about 320 feet altitude. It has grown immensely in the 14 years I've lived here: several shopping centers, light rail, new theaters (movie and stage) among other things. The climate is easily bearable except for some occasional heat waves which can be brutal at over 100. Boating, swimming in the nearby Folsom lake ~ Many trails ~ Good school system ~ Low crime ~ All in all, Folsom is a great place ~
