11/2/2019If you like hunting and fishing and farming and small rural towns than Hampshire is nice. Coon creek hunt club is nearby and Marengo Illinois has one off the best gun shops that is 15 min from Hampshire. Rivers and ponds throughout the area for fishing and horse trails all around Hampshire Illinois. You want to stay west of route 47 and farther from the Chicago area the nicer it gets and the nicer the people are.

Right next to Elgin, not good! -
11/2/2019Pingree Grove Illinois is down the street 5 min away from one of the most disgusting and horrible areas of Illinois and America, Elgin Illinois! Major major Elgin development coming to land that Pingree grove sold because they are so broke. Soon Pingree grove will be surrounded by Elgin stores and strip malls and Elgin townhomes and subdivisions. Area is done for!
