I'm a city girl who grew up in CT and discovered the beautiful state of RI- and stayed. Raised my family in southern RI, worked and went to college here. I am a real estate professional now but was in the financial services industry for years. Living in Southern RI- North Kingstown and south - 2/12/2011
There can be alot said about RI but what you will find here is a true New England town-yes, it's reserved but warm. People help one another out here and good neighbors are not hard to find. You have excellent schools for kids to learn, wonderful historic Wickford Village to enjoy within North Kingstown- a must see, waterfront coast with marinas and beaches right on our clear and true blue Narragansett Bay. Neighborhoods abound from high end to very affordable housing. And you are really in the middle of the state when you need to drive north,south , east & west- so consider it's great geographic location here too.
