5/2/2019The area, most especially Asheville, is ridiculously gerrymandered. Mark Meadows "won" Asheville area, District 11 strictly because of gerrymandering. Meadows is a worthless Republican. This area IS Republican, not Democratic and it shows.

Unless very wealthy, you can't afford to live here. This is the reason for extremes in wealth and poverty with no middle class.
Weekly food bill is almost double what it was 13years ago and no meat, booze, expensive stuff is in that calculation.
Best to buy as much as possible online and have shipped. You'll get far more variety and the online prices are much lower than stores. Chewy.com delivers for free and costs less than in the stores. Clothes, furniture etc cost less online and delivered to your house.
Prices for Everything are wildly overpriced.
Good luck getting into doctors when you Desperately need them. They use PAs here and I've now had 5 very bad medical situations from an undereducated PA that an MD would never had made. Hospitals are also poor and careless. Go to South Carolina to buy items and see doctors or hospital stays.
