I agree. I moved here and worked remotely for my job in NYC and it was great. But then I got laid off and had to find a job here. It was incredibly difficult to even get an interview. And the salaries are so low that it's impossible to live. Even after I found a full-time job I ended up having to do dog sitting and had an additional part-time job just to make ends meet. If you don't have a lot of connections in PGH you're basically out of luck. I love the area but jobs are incredibly hard to find and even harder to live on their salaries.
