I am 55 year old native of Robeson County, North Carolina. A 1972 Iowa State University graduate, I found 20 below zero weather to be miserable. Since then I have had a greater appreciation for the moderate climate of southeastern North Carolina.
After working in municipal, county and state government, I returned to school and obtained a MBA degree from UNC-Chapel Hill. Since then I have worked as a management consultant, lead the turnaround of two different healthcare business, and maintain various roles in business that I have a financial interest.
