Michigan-Economically Depressed -
8/19/2014Highest gas tax in the country. Gas tax was levied in order to get monies to repair Michigan's deteriorating roads, however, the monies have been used to try and save cities that are in debt like Detroit (just went Bankrupt). Detroit and Wayne County (Democrat Nut Cases) has and continues to be the single greatest cause of Michigan's financial problems. If your a true "Michigander" and know anything about politics here, you know the old saying that "All tax revenues one way or another end up in Wayne County (Detroit)". Wayne County has caused Michigan to hemorrhage financially for centuries now with no end in site! Wake up Michigan before it's too late!
