The education in Brooklyn is strong and the town is served by Randolph Eastern School Corporation, which operates three schools: Monroe Central Middle and High School, Union City Elementary School, and Ridgeville Elementary School. The schools are all highly rated, with Monroe Central being an “A”-rated school according to the Indiana Department of Education.
