Lamont, WA is a small rural town nestled in the scenic Cascade Mountains. As such, it provides excellent access to the outdoors and a peaceful atmosphere for its residents. However, when it comes to health services and medical care, Lamont has limited options. The closest hospital is located at least 50 miles away in the nearby larger city, leaving local residents with few options for medical care. Fortunately, there are several local medical facilities that provide basic care needs such as family practitioners, dentists, optometrists and physical therapists. Additionally, these facilities offer a variety of additional services such as lab tests and imaging scans. These services help ensure that residents can get prompt medical attention when needed. Despite the lack of a hospital in town, Lamont is lucky to have several medical facilities that are able to meet their needs for basic health care and emergency services.

The health of a city has many different factors. It can refer to air quality, water quality, risk of getting respiratory disease or cancer. The people you live around can also affect your health as some places have lower or higher rates of physical activity, increased alcohol intake, smoking, obesity, and cancer rates.
