Hansford, West Virginia is a small community located in the Appalachian Mountains. It is home to a small population of just over 2,000 people. Despite its small size, the community has access to local hospitals and medical facilities that are well-equipped to meet the healthcare needs of its citizens. The town has two primary care offices as well as three urgent care centers that are open at varying hours throughout the week. In addition to these facilities, Hansford also has several pharmacies and specialists who provide residents with a variety of services including physical therapy, nutrition counseling, and laboratory testing. Although healthcare is accessible in this area, many residents still face challenges due to limited insurance coverage. To address this issue, various organizations have worked together to create a free clinic in the town center which offers basic medical services to those who would otherwise be unable to afford them. As a result of their efforts, Hansford citizens can now receive quality healthcare at an affordable price.
