With another tax season in the books, you might be curious about what you paid compared to your fellow Americans. While the Federal tax rates are the same between states (obviously), there's a fair amount of variation when it comes to to State Income Tax.
Here's the State Income Tax Index for the 50 States and the District of Columbia, from highest to lowest. An index score of 100 denotes the national average, so you'll quickly know if your state is higher or lower than average.
