Caddo Gap, AR is a small rural community nestled in the Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas. With a population of only 89 people, Caddo Gap still manages to be a vibrant community with plenty of local businesses, year-round outdoor activities, and other organizations. Local businesses include the Caddo Gap General Store which offers groceries, supplies, bait and tackle for fishermen. Another popular local business is Woody's BBQ & Burgers which serves up some of the best Southern style cooking in the area. For year-round outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, fishing and biking the nearby Ouachita National Forest provides an array of options. Other organizations include the Caddo Gap Lions Club which sponsors various events throughout the year to benefit members of the community. In terms of sporting events there is an annual mud run at Spring Creek Offroad Park where participants compete in teams over a three-mile obstacle course full of mud pits and water crossings. In addition to this there are other events such as archery competitions throughout Arkansas that Caddo Gap residents can enter for a chance at winning prizes.
