Keats, KS is a small rural town located in the southeastern part of the state. With a population of just 351 people, Keats is an ideal destination for those looking for a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere. Despite its small size, there’s plenty to do in Keats!
There are several businesses in the area that offer goods and services ranging from general stores and hardware shops to local restaurants like the popular “Taco Town”. Outdoor activities include fishing, hunting, and camping at nearby Lake Kansas or visiting the historic Confederate Cemetery. If you’re looking for something more structured, check out one of Keats’s annual events like their famous chili cook-off or attend one of the town’s baseball games during their semi-annual tournament. The sport has been an integral part of life here since Keats was founded in 1872.
