Kenneth, KS is a small rural town located in the center of the state. The population of Kenneth is 1,425 people with a population density of 40 people per square mile. The area offers many local businesses, year-round outdoor activities, organizations, and sporting events for its locals. A few of the popular places to visit include Gualtieri Dairy Farm where visitors can pick up local dairy products such as milk and cheese, Smith's Sporting Goods which features a wide variety of outdoors gear and apparel, and Lonesome Dove Ranch for horse riding lessons or trail rides. Each summer there are also several festivals held in town such as the Watermelon Festival and Music Festivals that feature live music from local artists. For sport fans, Kenneth is home to the Durant Wildcats who host regular football games throughout the fall season. Kenneth is also home to several other community organizations such as scout troops and 4H clubs for children and teens who want to get involved in their community.
