Echo, LA is a small rural community located in southwestern Louisiana. With a population of only 197 people, Echo is an intimate and close-knit town with plenty of opportunities for leisure and entertainment. In addition to the many local businesses such as The Country Store, Joe’s Café, and Bansen’s Hardware Store, Echo also boasts numerous year-round outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hunting and birdwatching. Other organizations in the area include the Echo Volunteer Fire Department and the Echo Community Center which offers a variety of programs for people of all ages. Local sporting events held annually in Echo include softball tournaments, basketball leagues and the annual 5K race.
