Boothbay Harbor CDP, ME is a small coastal community with a population of 1,103 and population density of 310 people per square mile. It’s home to many local businesses, including the Boothbay Lobster Company, Fishermen's Market, and the Boothbay Harbor Shipyard. There are plenty of year-round outdoor activities for residents and visitors alike. Boating on the harbor is popular during warmer months and snowmobiling in winter. The Community Center hosts regular events throughout the year, offering residents opportunities to get involved in their community. The Boothbay Region Land Trust also helps protect the area’s natural beauty by conserving more than 5,000 acres of open space. Visitors can enjoy a variety of sport fishing tournaments that take place throughout the summer season such as the Annual Best Catch Boat Tournament. Other sporting events include sailing races around Linekin Bay and golf tournaments at the Boothbay Country Club.
