Lakes of the North, MI People

Lakes of the North is a small community in Michigan with a population of 989 people. It has a population density of 1,203 people per square mile, which is much higher than the US average of 93 people per square mile. The area offers plenty of activities and attractions to keep residents busy year-round. Some local businesses include The Lakes Inn, a family-run restaurant that specializes in fresh seafood; The Northwoods Store, an outdoors shop that provides gear for camping and fishing trips; and Lakeside Grocery, providing all the necessities. When it comes to outdoor activities, residents can take advantage of nearby hiking trails or spend the day on one of the many lakes in the area for fishing or boating.
