For those who want to shop local, Pilgrim has plenty of options. The Main Street Trading Post provides local art and crafts, while other businesses include the Backyard BBQ Restaurant and the Country Road Café.
Year-round outdoor activities abound in Pilgrim for those who love nature and the outdoors. Fishing at nearby Lake Greenville is one popular activity, as well as camping at the nearby state park. There are also plenty of hiking trails around the area for both experienced hikers and beginners.
The town also has several organizations and clubs for residents to take part in such as the Youth Athletic Club which is dedicated to promoting physical fitness among children in the community or the Garden Club which helps teach members how to grow flowers, vegetables, and fruits.
Finally, Pilgrim holds several sporting events throughout the year such as baseball games at Jackson Field or basketball tournaments at McAdams Gymnasium that attract athletes from all over Missouri.
