Tamworth, NH is a small town located in the heart of the White Mountains. With a population of just 2,834 and a population density of 52 people per square mile, it is an area rich in natural beauty and hometown charm.
The town has plenty to offer year-round outdoor activities such as skiing at Abenaki Ski Area, snowmobiling at Bear Notch Snowmobile Trail System, and hiking at Castle in the Clouds. It also offers canoeing and kayaking on the Ossipee River or biking around town on the numerous trails.
For shopping and dining, Tamworth has a quaint downtown area with local shops like Orchard Hill Market for groceries, Tamworth Village Store for general goods, and Whitfield's Country Store for unique gifts. For dining there are choices such as Polly's Pancake Parlor and The Barn restaurant where you can sit down with friends to enjoy a meal together after an outdoor adventure.

Sports fans will want to check out what’s going on at Moultonboro Academy Sports Park which hosts Soccer, Softball, Basketball games among many other sports events throughout the year or take in some of their signature festivals like the Annual Blueberry Festival.
