Mayhill, NM is a small rural town of 48 people located in Otero County. It is situated in the foothills of the Sacramento Mountains, and there are plenty of year-round outdoor activities for locals and visitors alike to enjoy. Fishing, camping, and hiking are popular activities, and nearby Ski Cloudcroft makes for an easy day trip in the winter months. As far as local businesses go, Mayhill Country Store is known for its homemade jerky and Cajun sausage.
