Alma, ND is a small town located in the center of the state with a population of only 62 people. Despite its size, Alma has many local businesses that offer the necessities of everyday life including a grocery store, hardware store, and several restaurants. There are also plenty of year-round outdoor activities to take part in such as hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking. Organizations like The Alma Community Club promote events such as seasonal festivals and sporting events like basketball games or softball tournaments held in nearby fields and parks throughout the year. While there aren't any professional sports teams active in the area, Alma does have an annual rodeo and several other local community sports leagues which bring together locals for friendly competition throughout the year.
