Maryland, ND is a small town with a population of 31 people. Located along the North Dakota border, Maryland provides its citizens with plenty of year-round outdoor activities. In the winter, you can find locals cross-country skiing or snowmobiling on the vast open terrain. As winter turns to spring and summer, people enjoy taking hikes in the woods or fishing and boating on nearby lakes. During fall months, hunting is a popular pastime for many residents.
Maryland also has several local businesses to serve its small population. Available services include supermarkets, cafes, gas stations, and hardware stores. There are also some service organizations available such as churches, health clinics and fire departments.
As far as sporting events go, Maryland doesn't have much to offer but they do have an amateur baseball team called the Maryland Eagles that compete in local tournaments throughout the year. There is also a youth soccer league that provides competitions for kids ages 4-11 years old.
