West Ontario, ND is a small town located in the western part of North Dakota. With a population of only 23 people, it is one of the least populated towns in the United States. Despite its small size, West Ontario is full of charming local businesses such as the West Ontario General Store, which offers fresh produce and other locally made items year round. There are a variety of outdoor activities to experience in West Ontario as well including fishing on nearby lakes and hiking through some of North Dakota’s beautiful wilderness. Other organizations include the West Ontario Historical Society which organizes events such as ghost walks and open days. Local sporting events are popular in this area with softball games being held at the local park during summer months.
