Mount Hood Villages, Oregon is a small rural community located in the foothills of Mount Hood. With a population of 4,408 and a population density of 6,454 people per square mile it is a fairly isolated area. However, there are still plenty of things to do in the area. There are several businesses such as Boring Brewing Company which specializes in craft beers and the popular Tilly's Coffee shop which serves fabulous coffee and breakfast items. Mount Hood Villages is well known for its outdoor activities, such as fishing and hiking around nearby waterways and trails like Sandy River and Salmon River Trails. The local sports scene features events like the High Cascade Snowboard Camp every summer. Other organizations in the area include the Sandy Mountain Amateur Radio Club and the Mt Hood Community College Foundation. All in all, Mount Hood Villages offers residents an array of year-round activities that can keep them engaged.
