Despite it's small size, there is plenty to do too! There are several businesses in town such as The Whistle Stop Cafe and the Glen Fork Country Store. Year-round outdoor activities include fishing, camping, hiking and biking opportunities at nearby state parks. Other organizations in the area include the local library for research and education activities, as well as the annual National Coal Mining Museum Festival. Finally, on occasion there are local sporting events that take place including softball tournaments and soccer games at the Glen Fork Community Park.
