Somerset village, WI is a small rural community just outside of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. With a population of just under 3,000 people, Somerset has a tight-knit community feel and plenty of local businesses and attractions to explore. Businesses include the local coffee shop, Corner Bean; grocery store, Hillside Market; and craft pickle shop, Pickled Perfection. Outdoor activities include hiking at the nearby Quarry Park and Nature Reserve or snowshoeing in winter months. Organizations in town are active as well with the local Lions Club sponsoring events throughout the year as well as multiple sports teams for kids in grades K-12. Handball is especially popular among locals with an annual tournament held every summer.
