The unincorporated village of 99774 Stevens Village, AK is located in the middle of the Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area. It has a population of 10 people and a population density of 1 person per square mile making it one of the most sparsely populated places in America. Despite its small population size, Stevens Village offers plenty to do for visitors and locals alike. The main economic activity is subsistence living based on local hunting and fishing.
The community has multiple small businesses including Stevens Village Store, Dolly’s Cafe, and Jack’s Hardware Store. During the summer months visitors can take part in outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, rafting, canoeing, ATV riding, camping and wildlife viewing. Stevens Village also hosts an annual snowmachine race each March called Koyukon 300 which draws participants from around Alaska for four days of challenging racing across Northern Alaska’s frozen terrain.
