Local organizations in Oatman include the Oatman Stampede Rodeo which takes place annually during the summer months and features bull riding, calf roping, bareback bronco riding, barrel racing and other western events for visitors to enjoy. Other fun community events include the Donkey Derby Days parade which passes through town each spring and celebrates its namesake residents - wild burros - that roam throughout the area.
