Fairfax, Vermont is a small town located in Chittenden County that is ranked #13 out of 16 cities in the state according to the Best Places rankings. The town has a total area of 18.0 square miles and offers a quiet, rural lifestyle with its rustic atmosphere and natural surroundings. Residents enjoy access to recreational opportunities such as fishing and hunting, and the surrounding areas provide plenty of outdoor activities as well.
