Lake Minchumina, AK is a small rural town with a population of just over 150 people. Despite its size, the town has two local religious congregations - the United Methodist Church and the Assembly of God church. The United Methodist Church was established in 1979 and continues to be active in providing spiritual guidance to its members today. The Assembly of God church was established a few years later in 1989 and provides a range of spiritual services as well as activities for youth and children. Both churches provide an important space for community gathering and reflection on faith while also welcoming visitors from outside of the area.
