San Miguel (San Luis Obispo Cnty), CA is a small town with a population of just over 4,000 people. Despite its small size, San Miguel boasts a vibrant religious community comprised of several different congregations representing many faiths. Most prominent are the two Catholic Churches, Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Augustine's, both of which have been serving the local community since the mid-19th century. There are also several Protestant denominations represented in town, most notably at First Presbyterian Church which celebrated 200 years of service in 2019. Additionally, there is an Episcopal church and two Latter Day Saints congregations as well as those that represent other faiths such as Islam, Buddhism, and Sikhism. All these churches contribute to the spiritual life of this small town and provide support to its inhabitants.
