Andover, Connecticut is a small rural town in Tolland County with a population of approximately 1,800 people. Despite its size, Andover is home to several religious congregations. The oldest establishment in town is the First Congregational Church of Andover, founded in 1762. This church offers services and activities throughout the year such as Sunday worship services, bible studies, youth programs, special music concerts and more. Additionally, there is also St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church which was established in 1954 as part of the Diocese of Norwich and serves the local Catholic community with regular Masses and other activities. Finally, Andover United Methodist Church was opened in 1965 to serve the spiritual needs of the growing population in town. All three churches are active centers for spiritual growth and enriching activities within the local area.
