Deblois, Maine is a small rural town located in Washington County. It is home to several local religious congregations, including the Deblois United Methodist Church and the Deblois Baptist Church. The United Methodist Church dates its beginnings back to 1837 and was originally founded as part of the Oxford Circuit of Methodism by Rev. Thomas Ladd Snell. Edward Spofford who served as both pastor and teacher for many years. It has also seen many renovations over time, including a new sanctuary that was completed in 2009.
