Port Tobacco Village, MD is a small community located in Charles County, Maryland along the banks of the Potomac River. This historic village has been home to many local churches throughout its long history. Among them are St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, built in 1867, and St. Thomas Catholic Church which was established in 1761. There is also a Seventh-day Adventist church located just outside the town limits, along with a Methodist church located close by as well. These churches have provided spiritual guidance and support for generations of Port Tobacco residents and are still active today.
