The small town of Lowell, Nebraska is home to a number of religious congregations. The churches are part of an active faith-based community that serves the local community through spiritual guidance and support. Although the population of Lowell is fairly small, there are four different churches that serve parishioners. St. John’s Catholic Church is a Roman Catholic congregation whose members come from many different backgrounds and beliefs. It offers Sunday school classes for all ages as well as regular activities throughout the year for members to get together in fellowship and service projects. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been part of Lowell since 2009 and its members strive to live according to Christ’s example. Finally, the Lowell Bible Fellowship meets twice a month for prayer meetings, Bible studies, and fellowship activities that are open to non-members alike. These congregations provide spiritual guidance and support to all members of the Lowell community, regardless of their religious or denominational background.
