Montour Falls, NY Religion

Montour Falls is located in Schuyler County, New York and is home to a variety of religious congregations. These include Presbyterian, Lutheran, Methodist, Roman Catholic, Episcopal and nondenominational denominations. Montour Falls has always been a faith-filled community with many of the local churches having long histories dating back to the 19th century. For instance, St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church was established in 1840 while Montour Presbyterian Church was formed in 1844. Other churches such as the Montour Lutheran Church were founded as recently as 1964. All of these congregations are dedicated to providing spiritual guidance to members of the local community and welcome people from all backgrounds and beliefs. They all strive to promote positive values and encourage fellowship among their members.
