Saline, ND Religion

Saline, ND is sparsely populated and located in south-central North Dakota. Despite its small population size, the town is home to a few local religious congregations. The congregations include Saline Lutheran Church, St. Anthony's Catholic Church and Pleasant View Church of God. Saline Lutheran Church is the oldest church in town, founded in 1882 by German settlers who moved to the area. St. Anthony's Catholic Church was founded in 1895 and serves a variety of nationalities including Irish, German and Mexican immigrants. Lastly, Pleasant View Church of God was formed in 1981 by members who wanted more traditional worship services than those provided by other denominations in the area. Each church offers various opportunities for spiritual growth and serve as a source of stability within the community of Saline.
