Strodes Mills, PA is a small community of around 500 people located in Perry County. Although the town itself is quite small, there are a number of religious congregations that call Strodes Mills home. These include the Strodes Mills United Methodist Church and the First Community Church. The United Methodist Church has been an integral part of the Strodes Mills community for many years and provides a variety of activities and services to its members as well as to residents in the area. On Sundays, the church offers a regular Sunday school program for children and youth, as well as adult education classes throughout the year. The First Community Church is slightly newer, having been founded in 2006 with just a few members but now boasting more than 80 active members. This church has also become an important part of the Strodes Mills community and holds regular Sunday worship services along with Bible studies each week. Both churches have given back to the town through various outreach programs that help those in need and help build relationships within the town.
