Central Falls, RI is a small city located in Providence County with a population of 19,376 according to the 2019 U.S. Census, and is home to several religious congregations. The city's churches are diverse in size and denomination, representing both traditional and non-traditional faiths. The oldest church in Central Falls is the First Baptist Church, established in 1847 as a Congregationalist church. This congregation meets regularly for worship services and outreach programs in the community, including afterschool programs for children and free meals for those in need.
