Bates, SD Religion

Bates, SD is a small town located in the state of South Dakota. The people of Bates are predominantly Christian with a variety of denominations represented in the local religious congregations. Among the churches in Bates are the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, First United Methodist Church, and Ducks Crossing Baptist Church. Each church offers weekly worship services as well as special events throughout the year such as concerts, mission trips, and other activities for members to take part in. The churches also sponsor various outreach programs aimed at helping those who may be struggling within the community including providing food baskets and other forms of assistance. Through these organizations, people come together to support and strengthen one another regardless of their religious beliefs or backgrounds.
