Wismer, SD Religion

Wismer, SD is a small town located in the southeastern portion of the state. It has a population of just over 400 people and is a fairly tight-knit community. The area is predominantly Protestant Christian and there are several local religious congregations that provide spiritual enrichment and fellowship for residents. There are several Methodist, Lutheran, and Baptist churches in the area along with a few smaller nondenominational congregations. Each church offers weekly services as well as special events throughout the year such as Vacation Bible School and holiday celebrations. All of the churches provide a vital role to Wismer's community by offering support to its residents in times of need, providing fellowship opportunities, and sharing God's love with all who come through their doors.
