Metaline is a small town in Washington, located near the border with Idaho and Canada. There are several local religious congregations in Metaline that serve the community. The most prominent churches includes St.John Lutheran Church, which was built in 1943 and still serves the Lutheran population of Metaline, and Calvary Baptist Church, which serves the local Baptist community since its establishment in 1971. Other smaller churches in Metaline include St Mary's Catholic Church, founded in 1933 to provide a place of worship for the residents who identify as Catholic; Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
