Olema, California is a small unincorporated community in Marin County. Located along the western edge of Point Reyes National Seashore, Olema is home to several religious congregations. Olema has a long history with organized religion, which can be traced back to the mid-19th century when it was home to the first Catholic church in Marin County. Today, there are six churches located in and around Olema: two Catholic parishes, one Episcopal congregation, one Methodist Society, one Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall, and one non-denominational Christian Fellowship Church.
