Moodus, Connecticut is a rural community located in Middlesex County. The First Congregational Church has been an important part of the community since its formation in 1737, and currently operates as an independent congregation under the guidance of Pastor Don Dean. St. Bridget's Roman Catholic Church was founded in 1870 and is under the leadership of Father David Gurnell.
