Galatia, IL is a small town in rural Southern Illinois. With a population of only 629 people, the town does not have an abundance of churches or religious organizations. However, there are two churches that serve the community: Galatia Missionary Baptist Church and Trinity Lutheran Church. The Galatia Missionary Baptist Church was established in 1845 to provide spiritual guidance and services to the local population. It is currently led by Pastor Scott Reynolds and holds weekly Sunday services at 10:30am. Trinity Lutheran Church was established in 1922 with a mission to spread the gospel to local folks and provide religious instruction to children and adults alike. The church currently offers multiple worship services as well as Bible studies, youth activities, outreach initiatives and community dinners throughout the year. Both churches are dedicated to providing spiritual enrichment and support to the citizens of Galatia, IL
