In the small town of Danevang, TX (population 579 as of the 2019 census), there are several religious congregations that serve the local community. This includes First Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Catholic Church, and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Mission. First Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and has been part of the Danevang community since 1895. It offers worship services on Sundays at 8:30am with Bible study, Sunday school, and other activities throughout the week. St. Pauls Catholic Church has existed for over 135 years and is part of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.
